So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

CAMERARS have become so sophisticated these days that many inexperienced photographers are often perplexed at the array of menus, functions and settings that appear before them on the LCD screen. To be perfectly honest, many of the settings are unlikely to be of use certainly in shooting close-ups. The terminology used to describe certain features may differ slightly between camera brands. Since I shoot with Nikon, I have outlined some of the features and settings that I consider are important. There are many others which are not essential.
