コンテナの効果的なモニタリングとロギングは欠かせません。マイクロサービスアーキテクチャで
は、マシン数が多くなることから、ロギングとモニタリングの重要性はさらに増します。コンテナ
は本来的に短命なものなので、問題のデバッグを行うときにはもうそのコンテナがなくなっている
かも知れないことから、集中型のログは欠かせないツールなのです。
この数ヶ月の間にも、ロギングやモニタリングのためのソリューションが急増しています。既存
のモニタリングやロギングのベンダーは、コンテナ専門ののソリューションやインテグレーショ
ンを提供し始めました。本章では、利用可能なさまざまな選択肢や手法の概要を紹介します。
identidock
のアプリケーションを拡張して、大規模なアプリケーション用にスケールアウトする
ことも容易なロギングとモニタリングのソリューションを持たせる方法を見ていきましょう。
