It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

· The foregoing analysis of the emergence of corporate governance traces the chequered
history through which governance issues have been highlighted, shaped and re ned,
and the long road it has to traverse to acquire some degree of perfection. The worldwide
