SUMMARY

1. The word poly means many and morphism means several forms. Both the words are derived

from Greek language. Thus, by combining these two words a whole new word is created called

as polymorphism i.e., various forms.

2. The information pertaining to various overloaded member functions is to be given to the com-

piler while compiling. This is called as early binding or static binding. Deciding function call at

run-time is called as run-time or late or dynamic binding. Dynamic binding permits to suspend

the decision of choosing suitable member functions until run-time.
