Read/write Operation of a Zip Disk A zip disk looks quite similar to a floppy disk. Both are about the

ary in their storage capacity. The magnetic-coated Mylar zip disk, which is also called as cookie,
is encased in a hard plastic material having a metal plate cover that slides open to provide read/write access to
the cookie. When a zip disk is inserted into the zip drive, the metal plate slides to expose the small portion of
