The file name can be a sequence of characters, called as a string. Strings are always declared with charac-
ter array. Using file name a file is recognized. The length of file name depends on the operating system, for
example, Windows 98 supports long file names whereas MS-DOS supports only eight characters. A file name
also contains extension of three characters. The file name should not be device name such as LPT1, CON etc.
