So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The Network to the Rescue
Luckily, there's a better way to find what we're looking for. The network age presents us with limitless opportunities to connect with the world at large in serendipitous ways. A good thing, too, because when it comes to solving needle-in-haystack problems, isolation is the enemy. Consequently, optimizing the quality of our connections with other people and organizations is one of the most important skills of planned serendipity.
