Presenting from LayOut
When you want to deliver a personal presentation, you can use LayOut pages as if they were PowerPoint slides. The features of LayOut's presentation mode are simple but impressive. Unlike with your standard 2-D PowerPoint presentation, you can show off your 3-D models in LayOut by panning and orbiting. You can even run SketchUp animations within LayOut pages. You'll find LayOut presentations work for many situations.
Click the Presentation button or choose View → Start Presentation.
All the menus, toolbars, and trays disappear, and you see your LayOut page in full-screen mode, as shown in Figure 16-27.
Click your mouse to go to the next page.
LayOut presentations work differently depending on the type of mouse you have. If you have a three-button mouse, a left-click moves forward a page, and a right-click moves back. If you have a single-button mouse, a click moves you forward. You can also use keyboard arrow keys to navigate.
If you want to show a SketchUp model in its 3-D glory, double-click the model.
The model opens, giving you access to 3-D tools. The Orbit tool is automatically selected, but you can access other 3-D tools by right-clicking the model.
Right-click the model and choose Play Animation from the shortcut menu.
LayOut shows the animation for your SketchUp model. You'll wow them at the client meeting.
Press Esc to leave the model 3-D mode and to return to the standard presentation page view.
Drag to draw on your Layout pages.
