THE CHARACTERISTICS OF AGILE DIGITAL LEADERSHIP
Despite what you may read, digital leaders are not all “new age” management gurus who reject traditional leadership orthodoxy. The evidence suggests that the most effective digital transformation leaders are those able to balance the tensions between traditional and emerging approaches to leadership. We refer to these tensions as the expert versus the learner, the constant versus the adaptor, the tactician versus the visionary, the teller versus the listener, the power holder versus the power sharer, the intuitionist versus the analyst, and the perfectionist versus the accelerator.1
