MAKING THE CDO ROLE A SUCCESS
The role of chief digital officer is widely popular, but research shows that CDOs rarely last long. Many CDOs are set up to fail. To avoid costly mistakes, firms should carefully design the CDO role around the following aspects: organizational anchoring, funding, jurisdiction, and decision rights.
