When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Executive leadership team
The company culture can largely be affected by the executive leadership teams, such as the chief executive officer (CEO), chief information officer (CIO), chief technical officer (CTO), and chief operating officer (COO). It is not always possible to make broad company impact unless you operate at these executive levels. If development teams feel that decisions come down as edicts and that they have no say in the decisions made, they may not be able to prevent issues that would otherwise be preventable. Many companies state they have an open-door policy and welcome constructive feedback, but often a development team will not empowered to speak up when they fight with broken processes.
