So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

In this chapter, you learned more about the Jenkins dashboard. You learned about adding build job items and all the parts of configuring a freestyle build job, how to add environment variables into a Jenkins job, and how to debug issues in a freestyle job.
The next chapter will cover how to build a Jenkins plugin and will specifically go over the build process, which involves writing Java code and using the Maven Build tool.
