So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Deployment automation to the rescue
As we discussed in Chapter 1, CI/CD with Automated Testing, automation is the process in which an action is done in a repeatable and automated fashion. Software delivery should be an automated process as this will help ensure the consistent practice and behavior of software delivery. We will look at tools later on in this chapter that will help you automate the software delivery processes.
