So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Testing the environment configuration
As the deployment pipeline is going through each stage and subsequently passes through each stage, it is good to check that the respective stage is functioning correctly. The tests you do for the associated stage can be thought of as smoke tests. For example, checking that a website is up and running by accessing the URL, and checking that a record in a database can still be fetched.
