I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating a consistent directory structure
You must choose a consistent directory structure for your software assets, as it can help you perform scripted retrievals from a CI server.
Here is a sample folder structure that I have done for a skeleton React/Redux application:
- ca (certificate authority)
- config (configuration files)
- db (database-related stuff)
- docs (documentation)
- images
- models (data files)
- test (all my test files)
- unit
- integration
- e2e
- helpers
- static
- build
- js
- actions
- components
- constants
- data
- reducers
- store
- utils
- scss
- utils (utility files)
