I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Device onboarding and discovery
Device onboarding is essential to scaling the IoT application to support hundreds of IoT devices. Usually, the mechanism is to ship devices or a gateway with a certificate and configurations so that, as part of the activation process, the devices register themselves with the cloud registry; for communication, they usually use the mutual TLS authentication. The certificate signing process involves creating a certification authority, self-signing the client certificate for each of the IoT devices, and installing the certificate on the IoT device.
