When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Tier 3 - Cloud (IIoT application, data, and analytics)
IIoT data that has been digitized and aggregated is sent to the Cloud for storage and further processing using analytics. Finally, IIoT cloud apps enable the user to visualize insights about the IIoT devices and enable the user to apply specific workflows. Once the data is sent to Cloud, the primary concerns are as follows:
- Securely ingesting and storing the data. Typical IIoT storage includes a time-series data store and storage of asset models and alerts output of analytics.
- Processing data using various different types of analytics such as predictive, physics-based, threshold-based, streaming or deep learning analytics to determine the health and insights about the IIoT device.
