Monitoring IoT devices and gateway strategies

In addition to monitoring the microservices, we need to have a robust monitoring strategy for IoT devices and IoT gateways. Monitoring of these components can be further subdivided into device management, and provisioning vs performance monitoring of these devices. Usually, we have to use two different tool for the same or, in most cases, we may have to build a custom tools for both of these cases. In this chapter, we will look at a strategy for building both these tools.
