MultiValue DBMS
In a MultiValue DBMS, data is stored in tables, which is similar to relational databases. However, unlike in the case of relational solutions, a record attribute in a MultiValue store can be assigned more than one value.
For storing information, such databases use two separate files—one for raw data and the other for the format to display the raw data.
Examples of MultiValue DBMS are Adabas, UniData, UniVerse, and jBASE.
