Event Hub
Event Hub is a service for publishing and subscribing. It retrieves data from a variety of sources and streams it to a cloud (the Predix platform) for further processing. The service can also be used to enable communication between applications, devices, and so on.
Event Hub has the following features:
- It is payload-agnostic, enabling users to publish any data and make it available to any subscribers
- It allows for scaling up from a single to multiple subscribers
- It can easily manage large-scale applications for asynchronous message processing
- User authentication and authorization is via UAA or any other OAuth 2.0 provider
