So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Handling for bandwidth constraints and transport costs using the API Gateway pattern
Another important challenge for IoT applications is the limited network bandwidth available between different components of the IoT application, such as between the IoT devices, constraints between the IoT edge and the cloud, or between the UI tier and the cloud tier. In this section, we will go over the API Gateway pattern. Although used primarily between the UI tier and the cloud tier, the concepts can be applied in other situations to resolve similar issues.
