Streaming analytics run continuously on incoming data streams, otherwise known as hot data, to provide real-time analysis and outcomes. Streaming analytics comes in handy for detecting mission-critical events and streaming the results in real-time for further action. Typically, streaming analytics runs analysis on a single data point, or a small number of data points arrived in realtime for high throughput.
