System Requirements

To use Microsoft Exchange 2007 Web Services, you must have access to an Exchange 2007 Client Access Server. Several chapters cover topics that require administrative privileges in Exchange and the Active Directory. However, in such cases, you can simply follow along in the book if you do not have administrative privileges on your Exchange Server.

If you are using the auto-generated proxy classes or coding using one of the .NET languages, then the following is required:

  • Microsoft .NET 2.0 framework SDK (included with all versions of Visual Studio 2005)
