So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
An Alternative Project Plan
As was stated earlier, there is no right project plan. What you use will depend on your organization. The previous project plan is very much a waterfall approach, being almost sequential. A larger organization that has more staff available for the project may want to adopt a project plan where more progress can be made earlier in the endeavor. You can see an example of this in Figure 3.3.
This plan would be appropriate for organizations that want to deploy the systems management solutions at the start of the project. This allows them to be immediately available to other parts of the infrastructure and systems management teams outside of virtualization.
