Integration with Virtual Machine Manager 2008 R2
The PRO feature was introduced in Chapter 8 when we talked about Virtual Machine Manager 2008 R2. PRO is a mechanism where OpsMgr can detect an issue and VMM can respond to it. You must have both products and implement an integration to be able to use PRO. We are going to look at this procedure and then look at how you can implement and test PRO in a lab or production environment.
You should note that all the integration work will be done on the root management server of your OpsMgr management group.
Prerequisites
You must manually prepare a number of prerequisites to have a successful integration of VMM 2008 R2 and OpsMgr 2007.
