Managing Hyper-V
We will now cover some of the steps you will perform to configure your Hyper-V host servers and the day-to-day operations of managing virtual machines.
Hyper-V Management
You can use three possible tools to manage Hyper-V in your environment:
Failover Clustering Manager You will be using this tool for managing Hyper-V clusters. It obviously will be used to manage the cluster, the cluster storage, CSVs, and Live Migration. It can be used to manage Hyper-V virtual machines.
Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) 2008 R2 VMM is one of the Microsoft System Center products. It should be the primary solution for managing Hyper-V if it is installed.
