It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The Project Plan and This Book
You will find that much of this book is based on the plan shown in Figure 3.1 in this chapter. This will give you a framework that you can build upon for your virtualization project. We advise that you read through this chapter and the rest of this book before sitting down with your copy of Visio or Microsoft Project. There is a lot to consider in this type of project. The features of all the involved products may cause you to reconsider the order of implementation. For example, you may be introducing Data Protection Manager 2010 for your virtualization project, but you may also see how it could provide an immediate return for backing up your Exchange 2010 servers.
