I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The Importance of Security
We've said this many times in the book, but it is worth repeating once again: Hyper-V, your hardware virtualization platform, will be the foundation of probably at least 80 percent of your server infrastructure. Like any hardware virtualization product, you need to consider where you will place your Hyper-V hosts on your network, how you will lock down access to them, if and how you will run antivirus on them, and how you will patch your entire infrastructure.
Failing to manage the security and security updates on any hypervisor product will lead to a vulnerable server network. As an IT infrastructure expert, you are probably used to paying attention to the details for server deployments. You need to be extra careful ...
