So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
ESXi secure boot
For ESXi, secure boot is possible using the digital signature of all VIB components, like a cryptographic assurance. By leveraging that digital certificate in the host UEFI firmware, at boot time, the validated ESXi VMkernel will subsequently validate each VIB against the same certificate:

When ESXi secure boot is enabled, you will not be able to forcibly install unsigned code on ESXi.
