So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Identification of the storage architecture
Choosing a suitable storage solution is another piece of the deployment plan. You should consider what protocols will be used and their direct dependencies. For instance, a Fibre Channel (FC) storage device requires FC adapters to be installed on the server. vSphere supports software and hardware initiators (known also as host bus adapter (HBA) or converged network adapters) that add flexibility to your storage architecture design.
