So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Configuring a Microsoft SQL Server database
Perhaps due to its popularity, the most common database type used with vCenter Server is Microsoft SQL Server. The installation of SQL Server is out of the scope of this book but you can find detailed information on Microsoft's website at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/database-engine/install-windows/install-sql-server. Once the installation of SQL Server has been completed, you need to create the database and configure it to connect with vCenter Server.
