I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

I must begin by acknowledging my bias. I know Carol well, have experienced her delivery of coaching, and I admire her track record with Richard Branson at Virgin, with the Association for Coaching, and elsewhere. Furthermore it is largely because of all this that she now works with me at Performance Consultants International. It is therefore fairly obvious that I am going to be upbeat about her contribution to the growing coaching library. However, those that know me are aware that I am not inclined to hold back if I don’t like something. To make that more credible I have been looking for something to criticize about this book, but after several readings I have failed.
