So far in this book I have concentrated on what a coaching approach means and what it can achieve, and I think I have made it clear that a person’s attitude, behaviour and intention behind the words have more to do with a coaching style than techniques that might be learned on a course. However, the best intentions in the world may not produce results if the ‘how to’ is missing. This part outlines methods that enable people to put those intentions into practice.
