The Misunderstood Stances of a Product Owner
The accountabilities of a Product Owner are often misunderstood, leading to interesting implementations of Scrum, and of Product Ownership in particular. The misunderstanding occurs in part because organizations try to map the Scrum framework and Product Owner accountabilities to existing processes, roles, artifacts, and events. Such implementations of Product Owner accountability often result in attitudes and behaviors that are not very productive in practice.
