Let’s suppose you want to automatically distinguish the queen bee from the worker bees and the drones in a beehive. You’ve probably received an order from a beekeeper. According to your client, there are several criteria for this, but we only use the following here: The queen bee is the longest bee, followed by the drones, while the worker bees are the shortest, as shown with artistic license in Figure 1.1.
