12 Learning Methods

As different as our brains are, so different are the learning processes.

In the heat of the moment, we almost overlooked the fact that there are other types of learning besides learning from input-output relationships. Consider, for example, a board placed on top of some bars—sturdy bars, mind you, to prevent the board from falling over. The board is attached to the bars at a height of approximately 3 feet. What would you call something like that?

What is going on in your mind right now is the search for similarities. This means that you try to assign this unknown thing to a group based on its property. This is a completely different way of learning than input-output learning.
