5 Multilayer Neural Networks

As powerful as the perceptron and Adaline are, there are tasks they can’t solve. For this reason, we’ll take a look at how the network architecture can be changed so that other problem categories can also be solved.

Let’s start again from the beginning. So far, we have input values that are weighted and sent to a neuron, which then carries out its calculations. Our only use case up to this point has been the classification of data into two classes with the data separated linearly.

However, here comes the killer problem that killed the perceptron, at least for a short period of time. We’ll describe it again in the form of the planning problem.
