Breaking Down the Script
Breaking down your script is the first step in preparing a schedule and calculating a budget. The breakdown lists every element (cast, crew, equipment, materials, and so on) you'll need for each scene in your production (Figure 8.2). You can do a breakdown manually, or use a computer application like Movie Magic Scheduling.
