F-stop:

A numeric index defining aperture size. Camcorder f-stop settings generally range from f/1.6 (the widest opening, allowing the most amount of light to enter the lens) to f/16 (narrowest opening, least light). Chapter 4.

Fall:

Single performance of any type of stunt, even if it doesn't involve falling. Chapter 8.

Feedback:

Undesirable whine in an audio circuit, usually caused by locating a mic too close to a loudspeaker. Chapter 7.

Field:

One of two sets of horizontal scan lines (the odd-numbered lines or the even-numbered ones) that compose one frame of a video picture. Appendix A.

Fill light:

In a three-point lighting plan, the light that softens and fills in shadows created by the key light. Chapter 6.
