Chapter 5Building Event-Sourced Elixir Apps with Commanded
So far, you’ve played with the basic building blocks of event-sourced applications: commands, events, aggregates, projectors, and process managers. You explored how to deal with the harsh reality of interacting with the outside world using injectors and notifiers. Up until now, you’ve been working with small, bite-sized pieces of code and relatively contrived samples.
Small samples are helpful for getting your feet wet with new concepts, but in this chapter, you’re going to use all of the building blocks at your disposal to build a real application. You’ll design, model, and implement an event-sourced application using the Elixir Commanded[20] library.
