I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
All Events Are Immutable and Past Tense
Every event represents something that actually happened. An event cannot be modified and always refers to something that took place. Modeling the absence of a thing or a thing that didn’t actually occur may often seem like a good idea, but doing so can confuse both developers and event processors. Remember that if an error didn’t result in some immutable thing happening, it shouldn’t be modeled as an event.
