It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

In this chapter, you explored the different zones of security in an event-sourced application as well as techniques and patterns that can be used to secure each of those. Security should never be an afterthought, and it’s well worth figuring out your security posture before you start filling up your event stream.
In the next chapter, you’ll learn how to perform manual and automated testing on event-sourced applications. Many developers consider testing to be one of event sourcing’s underrated super powers. Few things are as satisfying as the level of confidence you can get from a well-built event sourcing test suite.
