It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using Automated and Acceptance Testing
So far, you’ve written tests that ensure that aggregates do what they’re supposed to, that projectors behave properly, and that process managers issue the right commands. The next step up is to test the choreography of the complex dance that’s an event-sourced application.
A common mistake in writing acceptance or integration tests (the debate over these categories, their names, and what belongs in them will continue until the end of time) is testing too much. If you already know that your aggregate produces the right events, do you also need to write a higher-level flow test that ensures that you have the right events?
