So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Deciding Where to Start
Looking ahead at the massive full scope of any project you want to build can be intimidating, even more so with something like event sourcing, where many people fear apocalyptic consequences if they get it wrong. The first thing you’ll need is an idea of what you’re going to build. I’ve taken care of coming up with this idea for you (you’re welcome), which will be discussed in the next section. Once you have an idea, building the application is a matter of chopping the enormous scope into small, manageable pieces and repeating that until you’re done.
