I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
All Data Required for a Projection Must Be on the Events
The event is the only source of truth. If code allows a different piece of information to be supplied as a parameter that contradicts information on the event, you can corrupt an entire event stream. As such, all keys, metadata, and payload data must come from events and nowhere else. This is often one of the hardest laws to follow but the penalties for breaking it can be subtle and disastrous.
