I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Cameras with buttons and dials that give you direct control of most-used functions
are easier to use than models that bury vital controls deep within a menu.
Multifunctional Jog Dial
e multifunctional jog dial allows you to navigate through onscreen menus by pressing
the four directional buttons. Sometimes jog dial buttons have two sets of functions: one
set for changing settings while in picture-taking mode, and the other for making adjust-
ments in picture-viewing mode. Look for little icons next to the jog dial buttons. ey
usually represent the functions associated with those buttons in picture-taking mode.
Here are a few of the most common ones:
Burst is setting lets you take a sequence of shots by holding down the shutter
button.
Close-up Sometimes called macro mode, this setting allows you to focus your cam-
era on subjects that are only inches away.
