Pictures, Now What?
WORKING IN THE D IGITAL D ARKROOM
You can divide the process of creating photographs into two basic steps:
capture and postproduction. You can carry out these steps by simply
capturing a picture with a point-and-shoot camera and then taking the
memory card to a nearby store to make prints. Or your workflow can be
as involved as controlling every aspect of a shoot with your DSLR and
fine-tuning each exposure in Photoshop before making fine-art prints
on your large-format printer.
