traits. Let everyone know that you are going to get the shot first, and to please

refrain from shooting. Once you’ve finished, hold the subjects in place while you

turn over the floor to the paparazzi. All the guests then click away in a picture-taking

frenzy. Once they’ve finished, you retake control of the floor and set up the next

shot. It’s fun, and everyone gets to participate.

Prevent Red Eye

Your subjects are vulnerable to red eye in dimly-lit rooms when their pupils are open

wide. e effect is actually caused by the light from the flash bouncing off the back of

the eye and being reflected back into the picture-taking lens. Point-and-shoot cameras

are notorious for causing red eye, because the flash is so close to the lens; this makes for

a perfect alignment to catch this reflection.

Chapter 2), they don’t always work well and actually can be irritating to both subject ...
