We have looked at the nature and delivery of team mediation. In this chapter we shall examine some of the dynamics involved in working with teams and consider some of the special situations that arise and the particular skills that the mediator requires when working with groups of people.
Although mediators do not need to be trained group workers to conduct team mediations, it is useful to understand something of group dynamics and the background to the evolution of group work.
