Chapter 15. Debug Tool and debugging PL/I
This chapter describes:
Preparing a PL/I application for debugging.
Debugging a PL/I application with the main frame interface (MFI).
Debugging a PL/I application with the remote interface.
Conventions used
For the purposes of this chapter, all examples use product provided procs and utilities and
assume they are properly customized. It is also assumed that Debug Tool is available in
linklst.
If Debug Tool is not available in linklst, you must set up the appropriate STEPLIB prior to
trying these examples.
This chapter is based on an example given in the manual, OS PL/I Version 2 Programming:
Using PLITEST.
